They called me the autism whisperer....it seems I was identifying folks of all ages, sizes, and ages as autistic lately as an overly zealous therapist. Were they really autistic or was I just a believer who overthought everything?
As a 75-year old I finally realized part of my issue has been that I am neurodivergent--ADHD to be precise. I am the poster child for this lovely malady. Actually it is partially good, as I'm pretty darn creative and can think fast on my feet, if I want, and if it's something I want to be fast about. On my terms, ya know?
As we go on this journey together, I want to tell all of you that you are okay. We are all okay. With just a tad of information you will soon be able to understand how to live with (and I might say happily live with) being neurodivergent.
